Hi Mike, my daughter was wondering if you would do her Middle School as a cool school. She goes to Chippens Hill Middle School and this is the most cool school in Connecticut. What school would tell a joke of the day and the word of the day. Play a song in the morning. Please check into the website of Chippens Hill Middle School, in Bristol, Ct. You would be able to see what school spirit is all about.

Hello Mike,
As a song writer sometimes I forget why it is that I spend so many hours each week in my room writing music. Those 15 seconds that I was able to sing for CT and my school reminded me what true passion is all about. I could live in those seconds forever. I know I’ve said thank you before, but I really don’t think I could find the right words to express my gratitude. I haven’t exactly had the easiest life so to have the opportunity to share my passion with the world is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You’re doing an amazing thing, for me and many others. Thank you and God bless.
Hey mike I wanted to thank you for coming to my school Wethersfeild high
Hey Mike, thanks for coming to Wethersfield High last week. I hope you enjoyed my friends and I body painted and holding up pictures of your face on sticks. Come back anytime.
Mike,
Thank you for your Cool School series. It shows that teenagers throughtout our state are motivated, talented, and involved. The Cool School series definitely breaks the sterotype of today’s teenagers.
Thanks again and keep the series going.
P.S. It looks like you have fun, too!
Mike,
I saw the profile of Northwest Catholic High School today and enjoyed it immensely! My wife and I are alumni and still have one daughter there. It is great to see our school represented in a positive light.
Keep up the good work with the entire Cool Series. We have found it informative and fun. Thank you.
Hi Mike, I’m writing to find out if our school could plan ahead for you to come for our Halloween Parade (October 2009.) We would love to have our school featured on that day. Wamogo Regional High School has an all school Halloween parade/contest in the gym first thing in the morning and it is completely awesome. We would also have other cool things to show, like events in our Vocational Agricultural department and activities that the students are working on at that point in a variety of departments. It is a Friday before Halloween! It could work! Please let us know! Thanks, so much, Abbe W.
Hi Mike,
I want you to remember all these comments and emails whenever you are possibly having a bad day at work. Whenever you are down, go to your work website and re-read your emails and remind yourself of the great job that you are doing. I just love the “cool schools”. You were at my sons school last week down here in Griswold. I sat on my couch and just smiled and laughed. I was such a proud parent. There is so much negative in the world today. Sitting and relaxing, sipping my coffee before work, and watching my son and all of his friends that he has grown up in his town, and showing his positive qualities about his school, was nothing but up-lifting. Who could not watch this story and not smile over the steel drum band? I was so taken back by them….so impressed. The students that will performing the Wizard of Oz, have worked so hard with dedicated parents and staff. It just shines on the beauty, talent and hard-working TEENAGERS of our future. Watching all the kids, parents and teachers celebrating and smiling, cheering and laughing was the best morning medicine for anyone. All the Cool School stories Mike have been truly wonderful. Your enthusiasm as a reporter for Channel 3 completely shines through. I love to see you smile and thoroughly enjoy your job. Keep it up and keep reading your emails and know that your doing something truly wonderful!

Mike,
I was an Enfield High graduate in the early ’70’s. If you think Frank Taylor is cool now, you should have known him back then. I’m glad to know he still is and the EHS kids of 2009 can still have the privilege of knowing him.
