What an inspiring year we had for the 2010 COOL SCHOOLS tour.
Suffield High School was a great way to cap off-season 2 of our series.
SHS has an out of this world Astronomy class. Students learn about NASA space suits from Hamilton Sunstrand, the Connecticut company that’s been making them for decades. One of the teachers is one of 7 educators in the whole country chosen to be aboard the first COMMERCIAL space flight when the current shuttle program is done.
Future film makers are learning how to write scripts, shoot video, run sound equipment, and edit everything from commercials to documentaries. And what’s really COOL, they will appear in a FILM Making text book written by their teacher Carl Cassinghino. It will be distributed nationwide next year!

SUMMER is almost here, so it will be a little harder to STAY COOL ,but I know you can do it!
See you in September.
